Seller & Trader Policy
How sellers should declare private or business status on Pazar Malta.
Private seller
Choose Private seller only when acting outside a trade, business, craft or profession. EU consumer rights that specifically apply to trader-to-consumer contracts may not apply.
Trader / business seller
Choose Trader / business seller when the listing is connected to a commercial, professional or business activity. Traders remain responsible for consumer, product-safety, tax, licensing and other duties that apply to them.
Product safety and recalls
Traders and other sellers must not list products that are unsafe or unlawful to supply. Check applicable product-safety, recall, labelling and responsible-person obligations. The European Commission Safety Gate/product-safety resources can be used to check dangerous or recalled non-food products.
No verification claim
The seller-status label is currently based on the seller’s declaration. Pazar Malta does not claim that the declaration, identity documents, licences or tax status have been independently verified.
Marketplace listings are user-submitted. Verify important details independently before you pay, sign or travel.
