How Pazar Malta handles account, marketplace, photo, conversation, safety and optional analytics data in Malta and Gozo
Who controls your data
Pazar Malta is a Malta-focused marketplace pilot. For privacy and account requests, sign in and use Help & support in the marketplace. This page describes the current production data flows.
Data used by the marketplace
Account data can include your email address, public display name and Firebase account identifier. Marketplace data can include listings, listing photos, favourites, blocked users, conversations, reports and support requests. Public listings use a town/locality rather than an exact home address.
Why the data is used
The data is used to provide accounts, publish and manage listings, store photos, enable saved items and conversations, prevent abuse, handle reports, respond to support requests and secure the platform.
Service providers
Firebase provides authentication and marketplace database services. Production listing photos are stored through Cloudflare infrastructure. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics on the website.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics is optional. Pazar Malta does not load Google Analytics until you accept analytics in the website consent notice. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can reset it by clearing site data.
Retention and account deletion
The account tools remove your public profile, listings, listing photos, favourites and block list before deleting your sign-in account. Conversations and safety reports may be retained for fraud prevention, dispute handling, abuse investigation or legal obligations and can remain linked only to a pseudonymous account identifier.
Your rights and requests
Signed-in users can copy an export of account-accessible marketplace data from Account & data and can delete their account after re-entering their password. For additional access, correction, restriction or erasure requests, use Help & support.
Security
Do not publish passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or private home addresses. Pazar Malta uses authentication, database rules, ownership checks, bounded photo uploads and private photo tokens, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Marketplace listings are user-submitted. Verify important details independently before you pay, sign or travel.
