How Pazar Malta handles account, marketplace, safety and legal-notice data.
Controller and contact
Pazar Malta operates the marketplace described here. Privacy requests can be submitted through Help & support and Account & data. The operator must keep its legal identity and public legal contact details accurate in the legal notice before commercial expansion.
Data processed
Account data can include email address, public display name, Firebase identifier and authentication metadata. Marketplace data can include listings, photos, seller-status declarations, favourites, blocked users, conversations, abuse reports, illegal-content notices and support requests.
Age confirmation
Account use is intended for people aged 18 or over. The current implementation records only a device/browser-local confirmation flag and does not collect date of birth or identity documents solely to confirm age.
Purposes and lawful bases
Account, listing, messaging and account-management data is processed to provide the requested marketplace service and administer the user relationship. Security, fraud-prevention, abuse, moderation and legal-notice records are processed where necessary for legitimate interests and legal compliance. Consent is used only where genuinely appropriate.
Service providers
Firebase/Google provides authentication and Firestore database services. Cloudflare provides DNS/CDN, Pages, Workers and R2 for production media and private legal-notice intake. These providers may process data internationally under applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Cookies and browser storage
The current production source does not intentionally load advertising pixels, behavioural trackers or Google Analytics. Technical browser storage may be used for authentication/session handling, language preferences, release/cache control and requested app functionality.
Retention
Data is kept only while needed for the marketplace purpose, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal claims or applicable legal obligations. Account deletion removes the public profile, owned listings and media, favourites and block list through the available tools. Some conversation, report or compliance records may be retained longer where necessary and should be periodically reviewed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is used. Account & data provides export and deletion. Additional requests can be submitted through Help & support. You may complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
Security
Pazar Malta uses verified accounts for marketplace writes, database ownership rules, private media tokens, upload restrictions and bounded queries. Do not publish passwords, payment-card data, identity documents or exact private home addresses.
Marketplace listings are user-submitted. Verify important details independently before you pay, sign or travel.
